Psilocybe cubensis The cap is 1.six–eight cm (0.6–3.1 in), conic to convex that has a central papilla when young, becoming broadly convex to aircraft with age, retaining a slight umbo occasionally surrounded by a hoop-formed melancholy. The cap surface is smooth and sticky, at times with white common veil remnants hooked up. The cap is brown
